Provence Wine Tours is an independent comparison site. When you book a tour through a link on these pages, the operator or platform pays a commission. The price you pay is identical to the price on the live booking page: nothing is added, nothing is taken off. No operator has paid for placement, and no tour is listed here because it pays better than a rival.
How This Site Earns
Every booking link carries an affiliate tag. When you click through and complete a booking, the platform, whether that is GetYourGuide or Viator, pays this site a percentage of the sale. The tag changes nothing on your side: the tour costs exactly the same whether you arrive through this site or type the platform's address into your browser yourself. If you browse and book nothing, no money changes hands at all.
The arrangement covers the tour platforms named above plus hotel links booked through Expedia via the Travelpayouts program. That is the whole of it. If a new partner is added, it will be announced on this page before the first link goes live, so the list you are reading is always the complete one. Nothing else on this site earns a cent.
Tasting Provence Wine Without Paying This Site
You can skip this site entirely. Rent a car, drive out to an estate in Bandol, Cassis or the Luberon, and book a tasting directly with the winery. That route pays us nothing and we hold nothing against it. The one thing to plan around is the French drink-driving limit, which sits lower than in many countries. A guided tour with a driver exists partly for that reason, but self-driving works well too if someone in your group abstains for the day.
This page reports what each listing shows rather than pushing anyone toward the priciest option. All 22 tours publish a from-price, and those run from $103.36 per person to $1,219.42 per group. Two of them are priced per group, not per person: the Gigondas and Chateauneuf-du-Pape tasting at $1,219.42 for up to 8 people, and the private Cannes tour at $1,103.29 for up to 2. Every figure here comes straight from the live booking page, so the number you see is the number you check out with.
No Commission, No Bias
- Inclusion. Every tour listed on this site earns its place by being bookable from a Provence gateway city, publishing a real from-price, and carrying a rating with its review count shown beside it. No operator pays to appear here, and nothing on this page is sponsored.
- Ranking. No operator pays for position. The categories open in a fixed order: Aix-en-Provence first, then Avignon and the Rhône, Marseille, Nice and Cannes, and Saint-Tropez.
- What we say about them. Thin review samples are never dressed up. One tour here carries a single review, another carries 553, and every rating appears with its count beside it so you can weigh the difference yourself.
- What stays off the page. Anything that cannot be priced honestly stays off. Two listings were benched because no reliable US-dollar price could be read from them, and no tour appears here on the strength of a relationship with its operator.

How The Numbers Got Here
Ratings and review counts are the booking platform's own figures, copied across unblended and unrounded. On this roster the ratings run from 4.7 to 5.0, but the counts behind them range from a single review to 553. A 5.0 on one review and a 4.8 across 456 are different kinds of evidence, which is why every star figure on this site appears with its review count next to it. Nothing is averaged, weighted or hidden.
From-prices run from $103.36 to $1,219.42, and the spread has reasons. Duration moves the per-person price, from a three-hour half-day up to full days of eight hours or more. Two tours price per group instead: the Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape private tasting at $1,219.42 for up to eight, and the private Cannes tour at $1,103.29 for up to two. Reading those as per-person prices would mislead, so the listing and this site both flag the difference.

Every tour listed here can be booked without this site playing any part in the transaction. The operator takes the payment, runs the minibus or the private car, and handles any change you request afterward.
